Alex Luedtke | Associate Professor of Statistics at UW | Statistical Methods and Causal Inference Researcher
I'm an Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of Washington. I also have an adjunct appointment in Biostatistics.
Here are some areas I work in:
- Automated efficient estimation: probabilistic programming • numerical methods • meta-learning
- Causal inference: heterogeneous treatment effects • policy learning • data fusion
- Nonparametric statistics: debiased inference • nonregular problems • sieves
I apply the methods I develop to problems in infectious diseases and mental health.
My work has been supported by grants and awards from the NIH, NSF, and Amazon.
